Mickey Dale Family Foundation Engineering the Future of Organ Transplantation Symposium
Innovations in Organ Preservation, Regeneration, and Precision Medicine
Hosted by the Edward and Jennifer St. John Center for Translational Engineering and Medicine, the Fischell Department of Bioengineering at the A. James Clark School of Engineering, and the University of Maryland School of Medicine Department of Surgery, Division of Transplantation, the inaugural Mickey Dale Family Foundation symposium serves as a platform to highlight groundbreaking research, support emerging scholars, and advance the mission of improving transplantation outcomes through innovation and collaboration.
The symposium is supported by the Mickey Dale Family Foundation, whose mission includes advancing research and education that can help address the global organ shortage. By bringing together experts from across disciplines, the symposium aims to accelerate discoveries, foster new collaborations, and inspire innovative solutions that improve the lives of transplant patients.
Together, engineering and medicine are creating new possibilities for the future of transplantation.
